California Problem Tires / Recalls Attorneys
Are You Driving on Defective or Recalled Tires?
Certain models of tires have been recalled in recent years from manufacturers, including Bridgestone, Firestone, Michelin, Goodyear, Cooper Tire Company, Continental, Kelly Springfield, Pirelli and Yokohama. But many consumers are unaware of the recalls and continue to drive on dangerous or defective tires. How do you know if your tires are affected?
The tire defect attorneys of Greene Broillet & Wheeler, LLP, encourage you to take preventive action. A few minutes of online investigation could literally save your life.
Protect Yourself and Your Family
Get up-to-date information on tire and vehicle recalls from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration's recall page. Before a tire recall is issued, NHTSA investigates suspected vehicle and tire defects. You can learn if your vehicle or tires are the subject of a NHTSA defect investigation.
Don't rely on the tire's brand name alone. Cooper Tire Company, for example, manufactures tires under many different names for Sears, Pep Boys and other aftermarket tire retailers. If you determine your tires are the subject of a recall, contact the tire retailer or manufacturer to obtain a replacement.
Leaders in Tire Defect Litigation
Attorney Christine D. Spagnoli serves as plaintiff's liaison counsel for all Cooper tire cases in California. That means she represents the interests of people with legal claims filed in California against Cooper Tire Company for injuries or deaths caused by the company's defective tires.
Ms. Spagnoli's documentation on cases involving Goodyear's load range E (LRE) tires prompted NHTSA to investigate tires used on 15 passenger vans and ambulances. That investigation led to a voluntary recall of over 200,000 tires by Goodyear.
