June brought a spate of deadly motorcycle accidents in California the rest of the US.

Three of last month's fatal motorcycle accidents involved men in their mid 20's. All of these cyclists suffered fatal head injuries after losing control of their vehicles.

June 11 - Thomas Chamberlin - Angeles National Forest

Fontana Police Department officer Thomas Chamberlin was killed after losing control of his motorcycle on Highway 39. KTLA reports that the 26-year-old lost control for unknown reasons and crashed into the side of the mountain near post 21.

June 22 - Miguel Mallorca - Pacifica

Authorities say that this 24-year-old Bay Area resident lost control of his motorcycle on Highway 1 in Daly City.

The San Francisco Chronicle reports that Miguel Mallorca's motorcycle burst into flames after flying off the highway. Mallorca suffered fatal head injuries and died during surgery at San Francisco General Hospital.

June 24 - Matt Arrellano Paglino - Atwater

Authorities say that they saw 25-year-old Matthew Paglino "doing wheelies" in this small Merced County town. A California Highway Patrol officer attempted to pull Paglino over.

The Sun-Star reports that the motorcyclist attempted to evade the CHP officer and ended up hitting a curb and crashing into a bus.
